She's kid of an "in your face" type of princess.
This isn't the instance, but you get the idea.
She's also a sneaky princess. (This week alone she has used black marker on the couch, dumped a bag of pretzels on my bed (under the covers), and dumped a bottle of black glitter on the table and floor. This is where my arts and crafts don't mix with a mischievous three year old.
Dylan does love to dance, pretend he's a rock 'n' roll guitar player and dress-up as...anything.
This is a typical day in the life of Dylan. A Dragon on the loose in the backyard. This year he wants to be an astronaut.
So two funny things things my kids said this week...
1. Brooklyn dressed herself up in princess attire, jewels, high heals, and even my make-up, came downstairs and said "Look who's gorgeous!" As she strutted her stuff across the family room.
2. Dylan was complaining about Blaze, the little boy who sits at his table, because Blaze was hitting him. It went something like this...
mom: Dylan why was Blaze hitting you?
Dylan: Because I wouldn't stop dancing.
mom: Why were you dancing?
Dylan: Because Blaze was singing a song.
mom: If he was hitting you because you were dancing to his song, and you didn't like getting hit, then why didn't you stop dancing?
Dylan: Because, mom, his song was just too good!
oh, of course, do what you have to do to dance to music you love. Sometimes it's painful to follow your passions but play on Dylan, play on.
3. Also this week I had to call poison control because Logan sucked all of the juice out of a Crayola marker. Just so you know, they are non-toxic. Apparently you can drink as much as you want. And you can also use real mayonnaise to get rid of the stain on your skin. Who said being a mom isn't lifelong learning. Ha ha ha.
PS. For all of you forgetful people...Tomorrow is Todd's 32nd birthday!
