Strawberries straight from the backyard strawberry patch...a summer favorite!
Dylan is done with the sandbox and wants a pool.
So this will do for now.
Kentucky summers may include lemonade on the porch, snow cones, bubble blowing, sprinklers, cicadas, fireflies, perfect evenings, eating dinner outside, lots of humidity, late night BBQs, and lots of laughter. By the way, I tried to make some Disney magic of my own by copying the firefly commercial. We stayed up late and watched the fireflies dance around the backyard. I caught one in a jar and before getting totally freaked out that I was catching bugs, I ran it over to show the kids and to my dismay I found out that fireflies stop lighting up when they are trapped in jars. That's OK Disney commercial, I still believe.
