We were lucky enough not to be hit by the tornado, but we did have a pretty intense storm come through our area. The thunder was loud enough to wake us up from our sleep and I have even slept through California earthquakes before. The lighting kept the kids excited but the best part was the rainbow that went right over our house. My camera didn't like the light so you can barely see it, but it was awesome in person.

beautiful rainbow. Thunderstorms are one of my favorite things about Summer. I love laying in bed with the window open so you can hear the rain falling.
