Beach Boys and Girls!

Dylan in his frozen praying mantis pose.  seriously.
Logan laying out and working on his tan to impress the Kentucky babies with.

Dylan and I were hunting for crabs under rocks.  We must have found a hundred and Dylan found many of them all by himself.  After pointing out this little critter Dylan said, "well mom, I guess it's true, I really AM gonna be a deep sea explorer."  It was a very proud moment for him.  And it sealed the deal for his future occupation.
This was just a really cool picture of some mussels.  My photography friends would be so proud.
This picture, on the other hand, didn't turn out as well.  But if you look closely you can see one of the many starfish we spotted.
Dylan getting ready for the wave to chase him into shore.
I think it's all kids but mine seem to especially love being wet!
I think if she could have her way Brooklyn would be a mermaid.
Brooklyn enjoying a ride through the air.
Grandma and Grandpa getting wet for their grandbabies.
Some of my favorite smells include, suntan lotion, salty air and water, and bonfires.  Logan looks awesome here.
This is Logan's first dip in the ocean.  And this is how he felt about it.
Dylan is in that stage where he will pick up anything if it's slimy, squirmy, squishy, or just plain yucky.
Logan and Grandpappy with their hair blowing in the ocean breeze.
Brooklyn and Dylan building sand castles.
Brooklyn licking the salt (and snot-gross) on her face.
Todd thought he would take the kids to the water and get their toes wet.  Little did he know the water moves faster than he does.  (He's such a beginner)
Dylan with his 80's hair and making one of his silly faces.  It took him all of two seconds to stick his hands in the wet sand.
Dylan now loves to write his letters.  The beach is the perfect chalk board for little boys.
Logan liking the water from a safe and dry (and warm) distance.
A cool picture with Brooklyn looking pretty excited in the background.

A trip to Oceanside is not a trip without visiting Oceanside harbor.  It's our favorite beach because it is so family friendly, it is loaded with cool shells and animals, and it is filled with memories from my childhood.

I miss the beach and cleaning the sand from the car when it's over!...looks like you had a great time.
