Heather aka "Aunt Petey" came to visit Kentucky for the first time and we loved every minute. We had so much fun and played and played. Thanks for coming Aunt Petey!
Thumbs up for some southern comfort food at Lynn's paradise cafe.
Fried Green Tomatoes.
Happy Birthday Aunt Petey! Upon raided the kids costume closet, we all dressed appropriately for the occasion. Even Todd wore a boa. wow.
Heather dons a princess ball cap from mom. Thanks for the beautiful princess decor mom!
Heather's cake that we ate and ate. And then left out overnight. The next morning we woke to an ice cream puddle covering the stove.
Daddy and Logan
Dylan is proving his bravery to Aunt Petey by eating a sour lemon. Lemon wins.
Sour eyes.
Logan concerned again.
Safe in Daddy's arms. Or just being held back by daddy so he doesn't destroy the table.
Alien tower mega extreme colossal super fortress building with his aunt.
Dylan loved the company in the back seat. And this is normally how Brooklyn travels. She does not forget her princess hat or lipstick anywhere she goes.
hey where did everybody go?
Dylan is assessing the situation with the goats.
Dylan and Aunt Petey can go pretty fast together.
Brooklyn couldn't wait and had to go down early, by herself. Unfortunately she goes down pretty slow and has to walk down half way in frustration.
Brooklyn loved this baby goat. Heather was in charge of distracting the mommy goat.
The city life has made Heather a little too street smart for us country folk. She figured out that this machine didn't need quarters if you just keep spinning the handle. Naughty New Yorker.
The baby goat loved Brooklyn right back.
Brooklyn greeting the goat on the bridge.
Dylan discovers the slide, but I still miss the big bouncy pillow.
Have you ever seen such excitement?
All boy, all the time.
Heather is actually trying to stop Brooklyn from colliding into Dylan. She thinks her skinny arms have muscles. nice try.
Brooklyn wins and there's a crash. Heather is still holding on though. Even when Brooklyn tries to do a hit and run away.
The turtle didn't see her coming. And heather is determined to beat the hare.
Logan thinks he's the next tiger Woods. he's pretty excited that for the first time, he's not getting in trouble for swinging a stick around.
Brooklyn playing hide and seek.
I think heather is trying to figure out the mystery behind the missing shoe.
Scratching her head, she leads Logan around on a stick. I think we are all scratching our heads.
This is Logan's concerned face. He makes it all the time.
She is racing for the finish line.
They made it all the way around the track, barely.
If it has wheels, Dylan finds it and has to drive it.
Heather and the giant stroller. I'm not sure why she is making this face? :)
Brooklyn is probably wondering why Dylan is sticking his head in a hole with berries painted around him.

What FUN!! Those pictures bring back so many happy memories of my last visit to Kentucky! I'm glad that Heather was able to visit and that you guys made some great memories together. The kids are growing up way too fast!!
Love and miss you all!
So glad Heather got to visit! She IS a naughty New Yorker! Looks like a fun time. Love Dylans sour face! That's great!
Out of all those wonderful pictures (that make me want to come to KY by the way!) you know what made me laugh the most? The one of the kids in the car. Are they watching a movie? We always have a movie on in our car so whenever I look in my rear view mirror I see their blank eyes staring upwards. Lol. Oh well, at least they're quiet right?!
