First day of school

OK so I know school is almost out for the summer but I couldn't forget some of these pictures about the first day of school.  I was way more nervous than Dylan and we were all tired from partying with Uncle Brett who was visiting.  Dylan picked out his own power Rangers backpack and lunch bag and we all took Dylan into his classroom.  It was extra special to have Todd there because normally he would have already been at work for hours.  Brooklyn took Dylan's absence the hardest and followed me around asking where Dylan was the first few times he was gone.  She doesn't cry about it anymore but she still asks if we can go pick him up about every ten minutes he's gone.  She can't live with him or without him.

Oh so tired.

Here is Dylan's desk with his name.  He has his name on things all around the room and has a job each day.  Sometimes he is line leader and sometimes he helps clean up after lunch.  He loves his teacher Miss Cindy and likes to play on the playground, check out books from the library, show and tell, cooking class, and creative movement.  He's not so much into sitting still but he'll get there.
