Dylan's 1st party at school

Let the licking begin...

Dylan would be the healthiest kid in the world if we could just make frosting one of the food groups.
This is the whole group hard at work.  Frosting cookies was fun but getting to use knives was the real treat!
Rylee and Jolie were pretty excited to see a camera.  They are two of Dylan's classroom friends.

Trick or treat!  This is Dylan's first party at school.  He wore his shark costume for trick or treating in the morning and took it off to eat lunch.  They had pumpkin shaped pizzas and made their own frosted cookies.  Dylan said he maid an alien with three noses.  Then he proceeded to dip his fingers in the frosting and lick each one.  He did this about twenty times and when I asked him if he wanted to eat his cookie he said 'no just lick.'
He was pretty excited that I was actually at his school and in his classroom with him.  We gave all the kids a flashlight and turned off the lights while we read a spooky skeleton book.  Then we played pin the bones on the skeleton where each kid took turns adding the legs, arms, hands, and skull.  Then we went on a ghost hunt, played Halloween twister, and picked candy buckets off a spooky tree.  The teacher made them pumpkin treat bags and the kids were actually really quiet considering the amount of sugar oozing from their pores.  ha ha.  Their favorite activity was snapping their necklaces to make them glow and wearing them in the dark.  Then I stuffed a bunch of witch hats and they used their glowing necklaces to toss over the hats.  Dylan was a great help and it was so fun to see him in his school environment.  He seems like such a big kid.  We had a blast!  Dylan, who never takes naps, fell asleep on the way home talking about trick or treating with his Daddy.  What a scrumdillyumpscious day!

It sounds like you had some fun activities. I was in charge of games for Sam's class. It went by pretty quick, and left us with time to kill. Your kids looked adorable by the way.
