This is one of the aftermath pictures. Logan is trying to make of with all of Brooklyn's loot.
I think the coolest thing for him was not getting in trouble for his destructive ways.
Animals that he can pull around and feel in charge of...way cool!
This was Logan's Santa present. His very first car at age one.
Grandma Smith sent Logan this Jack in the Box. It was pretty funny. Their faces tell the whole story. Logan would look at Todd like "what the heck is that" and then he would laugh, following Brooklyn's cue. It took him a minute to get over jumping out of his skin every time. Has anyone seen Elf?
Santa brought Brooklyn this talking/interactive Ariel vanity. She spends time combing her hair with a fork and putting on lip gloss 'til the sun goes down. Oh, and I think it's Logan's favorite too. I found this tower/castle bookshelf at a garage sale (thanks Kristi) it was only 5 bucks! I love it and plan on painting it pink and white with sparkles of course.
More Minnie mouse, what could be better?
These were national the hit item of the holiday season. My kids love them. They are called Zhu Zhu pets and they are so funny. It's kind of like having a real hamster that randomly scurries, squeaks, runs in it's wheel, and even goes down a twisted slide. Logan chases it around all day and Brooklyn wants hers to always be Minnie mouse. Thanks Grandma and grandpa Ferguson for supplying my kids with the only pets they will ever have.
I didn't know if Brooklyn would get into the new Disney movie but she loved it, I loved it! We saw it right before Christmas and Grandma Ferguson came to the rescue and sent her a purse with matching gloves, so fancy!
More pics to come on the princess outfit from Grandma Smith. Let's just say, if anyone sees anything like it in my size, send it my way asap. Brooklyn is all dolled up from both Grandmas in her gloves, jewelry, and tiara. She is so thankful that they know her so well.
I'm not sure where she got her obsession with horses but she looves them! Here she is racing to get her new My Little Ponies opened.
Prince Eric was another rarity but Todd does this Prince voice that is so hilarious, w had to find one. She asks to play prince and princess every five minutes.
Brooklyn told Santa she wanted a horse which is definitely a pet NOT in her future. So here it is her pink horse. Very rare, and around Christmas time, very hard to find!
Thanks Grandma Smith for the awesome Transformer costume. Optimus Prime is famous around here. Mix the leader of the Autobots with Dylan's love of dressing up and you have yourself a HIT!
Grandma and Grandpa Ferguson sent Dylan an Angler that is just about the ugliest fish ever and it's one of Dylan's favorite creatures ever. He loooves the deep sea and was so excited to get something "Animal Planet" because that is the channel of his favorite show called "River Monsters." Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! It's treated like a beloved member of the family around her.
This was Dylan's face opening every present. I love it! It's so Dylan and he was so happy!
This is a face my dad makes when he's excited about something and Dylan inherited it. It's the "this is so cool that i will just smurk smile." Ben 10, another really big deal!
Bakugan was a big hit this year. He loves finding out how many G's they have. We have no idea what to do with them but it's a pretty big deal in the world of a "five and 3 quarters" year old.
Let the battle begin! Thanks Grandma Smith!
Santa brought Dylan a pyramid complete with trap door, spinning mummy tomb, burial chamber (complete with canopic jars for all of you Egypt fans), scorpions, mummies, boobie traps, stairs that fall, hidden passage ways and even a Pharaoh. Santa must have spent a lot of time on this one.
Brooklyn loves to pose and looks so cute in front of our sparkly tree.
Logan unwrapped edges of almost every present under the tree. He's fast, REALLY fast! The best idea was having empty boxes with lids under the tree. They looked like presents and were totally baby proof.
We all lost it.
This attempt, Logan is eating something large and trying to walk away.
Logan is saying... "really? why, mom? Why all the pictures, I don't know how to pose!"
Logan looooves toothbrushes. I think we buy new ones every week because no matter where we hide them, he sniffs them out and carries them around the house.
