Deers, and Cars, and Bears, Oh My!

Look out boys there's a new shop in town. It's called Ride Makers. It's like Build A Bear for remote controlled, Disney like cars.
Dylan and Todd went first picking there accessorize, wheels, body, stickers, etc.
A worker adds the R/C battery pack and away you go building your own dream car.
Logan didn't have to try very hard to get one of his very own about five minutes after Dylan finished his.
Building, building, building...
Adding some extras...
Dylan testing out the remote control.
Logan had his own starstruck moment of the trip. A woman who worked in the store tried to talk to Logan and work on Lightning McQueen with her. This is the face he made every time anyone who worked there even looked at him. He was so excited he couldn't handle the lights, sounds, famous cars, and attention. His head almost exploded!
A very happy ending.
This brings new meaning to the term 'like a kid in a candy store.' I think this was actually heaven for Todd and it was actually pretty cool for me too.
Now onto Brooklyn's heaven...She's been dreaming for her day at Build-A-Bear and it finally arrived. She made wishes and stuffed things and kissed a little heart and searched the aisles for just the right outfit.
Meet Clarice, I mean Rapunzel. Brooklyn happened to pick a special Christmas deer named Clarice. She actually says "Hi my name is Clarice," but that didn't stop Brooklyn from renaming her Rapunzel. Oh and the red and white dress that she's supposed to wear was not Brooklyn's favorite so we squeezed a bear's princess dress on Clarice (I mean Rapunzel) and Brooklyn topped it all off with sparkling Minnie Mouse ears, a veil, and four pink lined glass slippers. Maybe Brooklyn thought this was her only shot at this place so she went all out but her creation was sort of crazy Disney princess mouserella deer inspired ensemble. Leave it to Brooklyn, maybe she'll be a stylist.
The boys spent lots of time racing their cars, while Brooklyn danced.
Parker doesn't even know what he's in for but he was happy to be chill'in with Grandpa.
I wish you could see his face better but Logan is totally smiling. It was a great last day in California. It's always hard to leave the fun but Grandma and Grandpa are the best part and missed the minute we get on the plane for home.

What a genius idea for a store! Can't believe Todd didn't come up with it first :-) The kids look so proud of their creations! Love it!

Your Todd in that store is like my Todd in LegoLand. Just big kids. But at least your kids had fun too. :)
